Translation: A Freeter Wanted to Buy a House

The story revolves around Take Seiji, who quits his job after three months. With no dreams, no savings, and a poor relationship with his family, he becomes a hikikomori. However, after his mother falls ill with depression, he ends up having to take on a part-time job at a construction site. Because of that, he soon decides to work towards rebuilding his life: "Even though I'm just a freeter, I'm going to buy a house for the sake of my family." One of the people he meets at the construction site is Chiba Manami, who graduated from a top-class university and joined a well-known general contracting firm. Manami is the complete opposite of Seiji. But while their personalities clash at first, they gradually come to understand each other 

Review: 10/10 *Spoiler Alert*

Well, to start off, the main actor is Ninomiya Kazunari, who you might recognize in the live action who plays as Kurono Kei. I've always been a fan of his since the drama "Stand Up!!" (which i will review later) and i have to say it really fit him. 

Anyway it is to be noted that this is not a love story!!! For those whose only interested in romance drama, you wont find this stuff so much as those elements were only side story but it is still there.. Anyway my point is about the determination of a young man who is working hard to change his family's life.

Well, he's started as a worker in certain company but because he doesnt like to be treated there, he quits just after 3 month. As a fresh graduate, it wont look good in your resume. As he's looking for other full-time job, he works in other part-time job but he rarely last there because of his attitude who think he deserves something better which resulted in doing his job half-hearted. As his job-pursuit doesnt go well (because of his resume not impressing at all and his attitude), his part-time job does not go well either until his mother was hit by a depression. I wont go as far as telling why she's depressed but after discussing and thinking, Seiji finally decided to earn money and move away from the neighbourhood to cure his mother's illness as recommended by the doctor. and thus he start working on the construction site. 

As for what i like in this story, is the story of a son who determined to buy a house to cure his mother illness. His mother was very kind to him and he does not want to see her like that (well, she tried to commit suicide) and because of that, he started working on a construction site which he choose to go there because it pays well while searching for full-time job. Well, it wont go that well because the most biggest obstacle is his father who is not supportive of him and always criticize him. there's other thing which bothers him as well but because of what he went through, in the end, he's became a better human... it gives a warmth feeling as like seeing a person developed from nothing to something...

Another thing i like is the side-story of the girl on the construction site and also about his father and his sister.. well, it is a side story, they have a problem of their own but after seeing Seiji working that hard, they're affected too.. anyway, it is just nice.. and it is proven with the awards that they won
