Sakuragi Kenji is a destitute lawyer and one-time member of a motorcyle gang trying to guide failing high school students with an average score of 36 into Japan’s most prestigious educational institution, Todai.

For no other reason than Sakuragi’s personal ambition, he has advertised his intention to produce 100 successful Todai applicants from the students of a nearly bankrupt failure of a school.

Welcome to another version of J-Drama review, today i will present Dragon zakura which was aired 2005. Well, the reason i stumble upon this drama is because i'm searching for the drama where Abe Hiroshi is the main character.. I was so impressed by his role in "Kekkon Dekinai Otoko", so that's why i search for him.
Anyway, back to the story, it is about a lawyer who's his own life in danger because his reputation came rock down falling because it has been revealed that he was a Bousozoku. Because of that he's in need of image improvement of himself and of course, money to pay his office rent (which is his home as well) and it came to mind that how about guide students from a school with an average score of 36 to a Tokyo University
What i find fascinating of course, on what is the tips on how he will be guiding this student to enter one of the best university in the country which include tips for students, for the teachers and also for the parents... and i have to say what he says is right and make real sense. As a student, i find this story helpful although i already past the high school life, but it can give you some tips and necessary knowledge that you need in future events.
Another thing, i find the cast and character is quite fascinating.. I guess that's for you to find out... and another thing to mention, Abe Hiroshi got another award for his role in this
